  • The first ever conference on Marketing AI (MAICON), that took place in Cleveland, US, in July 2019, brought together around 300 AI thought leaders and marketers from 12 countries, who shared their opinions on how Artificial Intelligence can support Marketing and change the marketer’s life. George Stenitzer summed up the conclusions of MAICON 2019.
  • Google’s advertising platform is getting a new feature, based on Machine Learning, that will analyze patterns when cookies are available, and build models when they are not, to control the frequency of an ad. The new feature will be first used in Display and Video 360 and will later be also incorporated in Google Ads.
  • Improved efficiency and productivity, faster decision making, and higher financial performance are the top three benefits enterprises are gaining from analytics today, according to the “2020 Global State of Enterprise Analytics Report” by MicroStrategy, who, together with the research firm Hall & Partners, surveyed 500 business intelligence and analytics professionals from large organizations in Brazil, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.According to the same report, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning will have the greatest impact on enterprises’ analytics initiatives over the next five years, while advanced and predictive analytics are dominating enterprises’ analytics initiatives today.
