Johns-Hopkins-University-COVID-map COVID-19: Here you will find trustworthy information

To help battle the misinformation that is going around about the coronavirus or COVID-19, the tech site “The Next Web” decided to search for and share with their readership the most useful and reliable maps and dashboards about the pandemic.

In their post “7 best coronavirus dashboards to map the spread of COVID-19” TNW’s editors note that many of these dashboards use data from the Johns Hopkins University, which also offers its own map and is along with WHO among the top, trustworthy sources of information about the virus.

A word of caution, though: hackers are trying to take advantage of the public’s concerns by creating fake maps and dashboards, that look identical to the authentic ones, but are set up to infect the users’ systems and steal their credentials. In any case, check the URLs you visit, don’t download anything from sites you are not familiar with, and stay calm and safe.
